The whole point of human rights law is that the Government can be held to account when they breach people's rights.

If the Home Secretary doesn't like it, that's why she needs to hear it.

Woah! So Labour's position really is, 'telling us off for breaching human rights undermines the case for human rights'? Proper Trumpian stuff from Labour's answer to Suella Braverman.

I am an outlier. 91 triathlons done, including 10 Ironman finishes and very happily married. Slightly bothered that I can tell you how many tris I’ve finished but not how many years I’ve been married!

🚨Urgent: Thames Water want permission from Ofwat to ILLEGALLY pollute rivers and seas until 2040.

🤮They want your bills to fill their pockets with gold, while they fill your rivers with sewage.

✍️Sign now. Tell Ofwat to say NO to Thames Water before Tuesday 21st October.

Who benefits from the abolition of stamp duty land tax?

The first answer: people buying very expensive homes. Average saving for someone buying a £10m+ home is £1.7m. Average saving for someone buying a £250k-£500k home is £5k.

I agree. But you could reasonably say that about a lot of teams. People don’t say this about Duplantis and other sporting greats. Athletics has arguably just as murky a past. And sports like football just don’t look.

Cycling has one of the most stringent anti-doping protocols in professional sport. The biological passport system is far from perfect but means that the kind of doping that went on in the past is not possible. I’m not saying Pog is clean, but he’s no Armstrong.

Freedom of Movement was robbed from us by a successful Russian influence operation and the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history.

This reads far better in the original German, where of course the discussion would have been about Jews, Poles, gypsies, gays, Communists and Social Democrats. Still, Miller's model for all his rhetoric and action plans is unambiguous.

“Identity” is a bit of a weird thing in football. You know it when you see it. I don’t see it with Still. Harsh to say, but we don’t look like like a well coached team.

I block people who say "ha, you used Wikipedia as a reference, therefore you're wrong".

Bullshit.

Any Wikipedia page has to cite independent, approved external sources, and scientific studies in Nature showed it to be within 0.1% as accurate as Encyclopedia Britannica.

Such a lazy trope.

I used to teach at Crumpsall Lane Primary School, which is just around the corner from the Heaton Park Synagogue. Famously, we had 22 languages spoken at the school when I was there and remembered the area to be nothing but a tolerant and peace loving community.
