Absolutely. And some people have the luxury of being able to focus on writing without the burden of other commitments. But it was a very flippant "20" like that's a logical and realistic number of books for someone to write.

I am astounded that anyone would ever CONSIDER slapping a YA label on that story. WOW.

I can imagine that he has some character growth over the course of the game but initially I'm like god this guy is so annoying.

I hate bringing up my own fanfics, which is very niche, so I can't imagine constantly being like "hey check out this other thing I wrote".

I really don't want to go through the gauntlet of trying to get published (and also the gauntlet of having to promote yourself after the fact) and also also like opening myself up to a very different level of criticism. I'm too soft for that shit.

I am somewhat turned off by the idea of self publishing if only because of the business related things that comes with it. IDK. I just have some stories that are languishing and I think given they only use characters that barely resemble the source characters I should just....embrace it.

A lot of the things on the list are going to be simple one shots, but I want to shorten the list a bit, y'know?

Cause I'm trying to get myself to work on all the other outstanding things I have before I add something new to the pile.
