In 2025 amongst other things I finally read BEOWULF and MOBY DICK. Thus encouraged, I intend (if I am spared, as they say) to tackle WAR AND PEACE in 2026. I have the book here already; it is an absolute brick.

Today is #RLSDay which marks the birthday of the Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson who would have been 175 today.
It's also a good day to remember that it is NOT actually his birthday because in 1891 he gave it away to a young girl because she didn't like her birthday. 🧵

On the way to St. Andrews today, the dog threw up in the car. She seemed fine afterwards and consumed a sausage and a puppuccino.
On the way home from St. Andrews, daughter got a migraine and also threw up in the car.
