I saw Cthulhu Britannica London for $70 and I didn't buy it, and I hate myself for it.

… he says on social media, easily the most corrosive force in the world today with actual active, targeted disinformation, negative societal impact, distortable by governments and billionaires alike.

But sure LLMs are the enemy now; keep your social media engagement high bro.

Couch revolutionary.
I'm an "A.i." abolitionist.

No consumer-facing LLMs or generative "A.i." in anything.

Sure, machine learning in science and a few other limited applications is fine.

But consumer-facing LLMs and generative "A.i." that are based on theft, push disinfo, and can be manipulated by billionaires?

No.

Look, all I'm saying is that Andor is only marginally 'Star Wars'. It's no more Star Wars than the RoboCop animated show is 'RoboCop'.

And yes, it's perfectly fine... but wildly overrated.

I don't know what @anthropic.com is feeding Claude, but I've been building agents to play roleplaying games with, and Claude is the ONLY model that inherently understands the boundaries of the player/gm roles.

End of an era 🫡
This was announced a few weeks ago, but the other shoe dropped today: RAFM Miniatures has closed.

(I suspect it's pretty hard to keep a traditional minis company going in the world of 3-D printing, and one has to wonder if the Trump import taxes played a role, but I don't think they've said why.)

This is actually a pretty big deal, if you're into that sort of thing. There has been no official screen of the original Star Wars print for something like 3-4 decades! www.theguardian.com/film/2025/ap...

This story should really be about why Venmo's default pattern is the sharing of information. That might have been trendy ten years ago, but today it's at least reckless, but more likely an outrageously poorly conceived design still at work. www.wired.com/story/michae...
