So my copy of Riverbank arrived! Yay! I am reading and enjoying. Hopefully I can put together a table for a 1 shot to get a feel for the game for January. I cannot wait to make some truly ridiculous NPCs.

People adapt games for their tables, even for indie games. When that happens and GMs share significantly about their process and adaptations, that’s creative and positive rather than rude or “playing it wrong.” Yes?

It’s good to check your memory in case it is wrong or overly optimistic. My memory has told me for weeks, “Don’t worry! You have summer camp map that does half of the location prep for you!” But, no, I do not. I have a city park map and a mountain with hiking trails map.
