CBC has a great podcast called White Hot Hate that reveals white supremacist groups in Canada have a large number of military or former military that belong to extreme hate groups. Same in the US. The military either attracts extremists or makes them become extremists.

CBC did a podcast about recruitment of Canadians into white supremacy groups. It is no surprise that most of the people in these hate groups are military or former military.
