Hey everyone,

You don't have to drink Coke or Pepsi. There are other drinks.

You don't have to vote for Labor or Liberal. There are viable alternatives.

Vote for a small party. Or vote for an independent. Someone local with a kind heart.

We need to rebuild a better Australia with someone else.

We cannot ignore what we can see with our own eyes.

This was state violence.

And the blame lies with the NSW Labor government for attempting to shut down legitimate protest, and the federal Labor government who invited the head of a state committing genocide to our shores.

one of the few outlets to publish an accurate account of NSW police brutality. Most media seem very confused by the fact that police blocked the exits and then police attacked people with pepper spray, fists, and steel cap boots.

According to Penny Wong we must understand the “context” of the Herzog visit.
Its about brutal reality not context.
Herzog up to his neck in the genocide in Gaza.
Signs a bomb that kills innocent children and civilians.
Incites hatred of all Palestinians.
Supports war crimes.

1. This short thread is about the issue that dominates almost every aspect of politics, and causes or exacerbates most of our problems: the extreme wealth of a small number of people. Here’s the amazing thing: almost the entire political class aligns with the ultra-rich against the rest. 🧵1/10

It’s less than a year since Albanese won an overwhelming election majority. It was a mandate to be a leader, not a wimp. So why does Albo find that lesson so hard to learn & on multiple fronts? Good question from former Canberra Times editor Jack Waterford.
Gory sausage making at the Labor knackery
“Social coherence” is being invoked everywhere, but public trust is fraying. Political panic, rushed laws and weak leadership are deepening division, not repairing it.
