A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts.
The woman, Bruna Ferreira, has an 11-year-old son with Michael Leavitt, Karoline Leavitt's brother.
Ferreira migrated with her family to the United States from Brazil as a child and is currently in custody at an ICE facility in southern Louisiana.

I come from a mixed-faith family: we have a tree and do presents and put on Christmas music and then we eat Chinese food for dinner.
it fascinates me how most everyone in the U.S. does turkey for Thanksgiving, but we are all over the map as to what we eat for Christmas (as is proper for a hugely diverse nation).

I keep seeing posts about people feeling weird when stranger ask them what they’re doing for Thanksgiving because they spend it with friends instead of family but in my mind Thanksgiving is a great holiday because everyone is celebrating it and it’s not a nuclear family-type holiday.
