Insightful post and this type of damage will find its way into Asian security architecture. While Asian security architecture is less systematic and integrated than European system, regional states will start looking for alternative solutions if the Trump administration keeps attacking allies.
We're seeing a lot of very rapid geopolitical and geo-economic thinking going on right now in Europe about what the end of the US alliance means for its security, economy & diplomacy.
I haven't seen any parallel thinking among the US Atlanticist community about what it means for the US.

I'm glad that America is doing real classic end of empire stuff. A king who is visibly losing his mind declaring a war based on a dream he had. Greedy courtiers feuding over access to the treasury. Some looks are timeless.
