If you post a .gif it will often have AI-generated alt text, which you should replace because its almost always comically bad.

You can go to your Settings and make it required to include alt text before you post an image. All the best comrades on here do this.

Also - BONUS: alt text has like a 2000 character limit, so its easy to include lots of extra info, as long as you don't neglect the description of the image posted.
