Writing a first person child narrator in adult fantasy is HARD. Striking that balance between them actually sounding like a child but the book not reading as middle grade is maybe the hardest craft thing I've ever attempted. #writingcommunity

Oh no, I missed #N7day! Some little known lore about me: I was SUPER into Mass Effect 3 multiplayer in grad school. It and Civ V...those were the days. Anyway, there was a ME3MP community banner contest back in 2013 -- I didn't win, but I had fun with a Tech Mastery banner entry!

major downside of Riftbound is being required to have both a Legend and a Champion card of the same character when there's so many Legends in the game...makes it really hard to cobble together a deck
