We feel blessed to be Canadian. Yesterday Anneke, Anne, Joanne, Nahid & Cathy had a wonderful meeting with @senrosagalvez.bsky.social and then walked out into the beautiful winter night. The meeting was a collaboration between Citizens Climate Lobby Canada & Grandmothers Act to Save the Planet .

End corporate handouts to oil companies? Inheritance tax? Capital gains tax? Price on carbon? Prosecute offshore bank accounts? Stop building arenas, stadiums, cancel FIFA? Digital tax? There's lots of ideas to divert money from the 1% to those needing water.
