as redes tem que ser responsabilizadas, sim, mas o texto do projeto já diz que contas com "indícios" de serem "operadas por crianças" terão que ter identidade verificada, incluindo por documento pessoal, e isso tem muito jeito de virar vigilância em massa e pouco jeito de proteger alguém

Here's the quarter Moon from about a week ago. You can juuust see the Lunar X near the top left, and the Lunar V near the top middle — these are a light-and-shadow effect created by the rims of a few craters near the terminator for just a few hours every first quarter

The waxing quarter Moon of Wednesday, 2025-07-02. The colours are gently enhanced to show the subtle colour differences that exist on the Moon's surface due to varying mineral composition. Near the terminator, both the Lunar X and lunar Y light-and-shadow effects are visible. Cropped view of the previous image, zoomed into the area containing the previously mentioned Lunar X and Lunar V, which are circled and labelled. The X is formed from the rims of the craters Blanchinus, La Caille, and Purbach, while the V is formed from the rim of the Ukert crater plus a few small craters that surround it.

at this scale the Earth is like 5 pixels. a microscopic speck. a tiny little thing. almost every single one of these spots is bigger. 🤯

Trying solar photography again, there's some nice active regions right in the middle! AR 4100 is just below centre, and AR 4099 is just above and to the left. AR4100 produced a huge flare earlier that should light up the auroras in the coming nights!

What really messes me up ab. Earth's magnetic field is how it's not actually concentric with the Earth itself, despite most material representing like that—this gives us the South Atlantic Anomaly! It's not as offset as the ice giants', but it's there and not brought up as often as I think it should

First serious attempt at solar photography — lot more detail than I expected at 300mm! AR 4079 is HUGE, I could even spot it without magnification 🤯

The Lagoon Nebula is seen in mixing shades of pink, cyan, and white, while the Trifid has two distinct sections, one in magenta and one in blue/cyan. The Trifid's magenta section, an emission nebula, has dust filaments that appear to cut it into thirds, giving it its name. Its blue/cyan portion is a reflection nebula. The field covers an area approximately 6.5 degrees wide by 3.7 degrees tall. A few open and globular clusters can also be seen in the image. A bright area containing dust, gas, and stars from the central region of the Milky Way is visible at the bottom right.

Last night's quarter #Moon, colour enhanced to showcase the variance in lunar mineral composition

The Moon, approximately half illuminated as seen on the 4th of May, 2025. The colours have been somewhat enhanced to better display the variability in the Moon's mineral composition, with blue hues hinting at higher concentrations of titanium minerals and redder hues suggesting higher concentrations of iron. Mare Tranquilitatis is notably bluer than average, while Mare Serenitatis is gently redder.

Photo of the great nebula in Carina, also known as NGC 3372. The main body of the nebula appears as if it's divided in thirds, with many shades of red, blue, and cyan colouring the area. Eta Carinae, a very active binary star system containing a luminous blue variable star, and its associated Homunculus Nebula, are located in the upper of the three thirds, with many thousands of other stars covering the rest of the field.

Thousands of stars in various shades of orange, blue, and near white can be seen in the field, which has a limiting magnitude of approximately 13.2. Some of the nebulae in the Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex can be faintly seen near the brightest stars, including IC 4606 (Antares), IC 4605 (i Sco), IC 4603 (HIP 80462), IC 4604 (rho Oph), SH 2-9 (Alniyat). Many dark dust clouds are also visible through the area, especially to the left of Antares, spreading towards the bottom left of the image.

First time trying this — composite shot of an enhanced ("mineral") Moon & a nice bit of cloud iridescence. Taken last night, at about 98.7% illumination. #astrophotography
Composite photograph of the waning gibbous Moon at 98.7% illumination, with a few clouds around it displaying iridescence. The Moon itself is enhanced in order to better display its subtle surface colour variations, which are caused by the difference in the concentration of certain minerals in each area — this enhancing technique is also called a "mineral Moon".

Lista de nomes das Luas cheias de cada mês, arquivados de uma página do site do Farmer's Almanac. A Lua de abril ("Full Pink Moon") e sua descrição estão destacadas. A descrição diz que o nome advém da planta "moss pink" (Phlox subulata), que se espalha durante esse mês, e também lista outros nomes conhecidos pra essa Lua.
