I cringe when people talk about generational wealth. It’s a joke. My dad died an addict so all I inherited was debt. My MAGA mom has a huge home on the coast and $$$ but I am not on speaking terms with her either. I don’t expect to inherit anything.

My family is no longer conservative-they’re MAGA.
I fucking *wish* they were still conservative. Back then they still believed in being honest, treating others with respect, live and let live, etc… now their overriding mindset is fuck anybody who isn’t a white ‘Christian’ American.

Yes!!! I was brought up in a conservative family. Once I went away to college, began traveling, and meeting people from different walks of life, it radically changed all my views. I can’t imagine becoming conservative as I age because I can’t unlearn what I’ve discovered along the way.
