sometimes you feel insecure about something and you need to ask yourself if it's something a middle schooler would worry about, like having big hands or the wrong water bottle or having visible socks.

remember when people used to be embarrassed to let people know we wore socks under our shoes? we had to create the illusion of free balling our shoes for some reason. what a middle-school ass insecurity. grown men were doing this.

It bears repeating that 5calls.org makes it incredibly easy to contact your reps. They give you the phone numbers, a script to read, and a run down of what is happening with each issue. I just called my senators in my pjs half awake and I'll probably do it some more later
It's cruel. It's an incredible escalation of their anti-trans culture war. And there is still a chance to stop the provision in the Senate, so if you have a trans person in your life you care about, I implore you - make your voice heard with your Senators. Both of them. Republican OR Democrat.
