Question to the GMs: does you use patrons in your campaigns? For clarity, these are NPCs that are basically "quest givers" and are responsible to guiding the heroes. If you've had them in your campaign, how do you feel you've made them interesting, dynamic and fun to use? #ttrpg

Officially got the title for my Draw Steel campaign starting next year - 'Tides of Chaos'. Why is it called that beyond sounding cool? Glad you asked. I want to try and capture the wonder of exploration by having a feature of the world whereby new areas open up between sessions. /1
