1. It was not an accident.
2. It was not a staffer.
3. While the president may have dementia his racism is not due to dementia.
4. He isn’t sorry. He means every racist thought he shares.
5. His base agrees with him.
6. He will do it again.
7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

Jeffrey Bezos is destroying the Washington Post for the same reason Musk destroyed Twitter and Ellison is destroying CBS—oligarchs oppose the free press when if it threatens their wealth and power.

They don’t want normal people to see what is happening in America.

It should not take a court order to get a toddler out of a prison.

It’s all too much
It’s pretty fucking wild that the DOJ is releasing files that include accusations that the President of the United States raped underage girls, to distract from the fact that the DOJ is covering up murders of US citizens by their own government.

Just kinda seems like refusing to tell us which ICE agents murdered Alex Pretti undercuts the idea that they’re wearing masks to protect themselves — rather than to be able to kill people with impunity.

Walz: I would just give a pro tip to the AG. There's 2 million documents in the Epstein files we're still waiting on. Go ahead and work on those

Renee Nicole Good and Alex Jeffrey Pretti.

Say their names.

Remember their names.

Two American citizens who were murdered in cold blood by ICE and are now being dehumanized by Republicans as "domestic terrorists for peacefully standing up for their neighbors.

The people who'll tell you today's murder victim in Minnesota shouldn't have turned up to a protest carrying a gun are the same people who said Kyle Rittenhouse was perfectly entitled to do the same thing.

This is just the latest evidence that the war on higher ed was never once about freedom of inquiry or cultivating excellence.

It was just using state violence to silence criticism. A clear, open violation of the most sacred values of American public life and constitutional law. Unforgivable.
Newly unsealed evidence makes it even clearer that Rubio and Noem knew they were targeting students based solely on their political speech and that they knew this policy was unconstitutional. They just didn’t care. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/22/u...

Bipartisan negotiators released a DHS funding bill that does not significantly reduce ICE and CBP’s funding nor rein in the agencies’ abuses of power.

Make no mistake: Any Democrat who votes for this bill is complicit in Trump’s campaign of terror.

Grow a spine and vote no.

We cannot normalize this federal occupation of Minneapolis.

It is not normal to watch people abducted in front of our eyes—dragged from car windows, pulled from their homes, and children left without parents.

This is not about immigration. It’s about unchecked cruelty.

They believe the law doesn’t apply to them and that accountability will never come.

Whether they’re right won’t be decided by the Constitution or the courts.

It will be decided by the resolve and action of the American people over the next twelve months.

Four GOP Senators.

At most four Repubs in the House.

Together they could stop nearly all the mad-king's rampages. They would be known to history as Profiles in Courage. They might/would lose the next election. But people have sacrificed a lot more, for a lot less.
I can't repeat this enough.

Nothing Trump does is intended to benefit average people in the US, Greenland, Venezuela, Iran, or anywhere else. They are always the ones who bear the costs, burdens and negative consequences.

Everything he does benefits himself and his billionaire cronies around the globe.

The Trump era in a nutshell:

Ordinary citizens are holding ICE accountable, while large law firms are doing nothing.

Small businesses are speaking out, while large corporations remain silent.

Independent media show moral urgency, while legacy media reports "both sides."
