As Valve will never admit wrongdoing or their own cartoonish, well-documented inconsistency (because they'd have to re-review SO much and nobody at the company wants to do that), the only option left is to ensure Santa Ragione doesn't go bust. Which means buying games somewhere other than Steam.

i won't explicitly evoke my goofy as fuck catchphrase but there is something really insidious to me about this unheaded cultural movement towards an aesthetic of having no-one be responsible, and as a result creating and submitting to obfuscated systems of control

I know basically nothing about the game, but I assume this happens in Borderlands 3, and their rocket reenters and crashes in the distance, landing on an outhouse or something. They are completely unharmed but complain about smelling bad for the next two hours of play.
