She is correct in everything but technical vocabulary. At some point, MAGA cultists are going to start playing word games. Some already have. There is some value in knowing the actual words for sexual predator activities that are still all illegal and extremely immoral.

I’m sure she’s well intentioned and her concerns are serious. But she really should get her history corrected. Alaska became a US Department in 1867, a District in 1884, a territory in 1912, and a state in 1959.
