Please see below my article for Lib Dem Voice titled 'Have we forgotten what we stand for?'.

In it I talk about why so many young and diverse members feel disillusionment with the party and what I believe needs to change.

Have we forgotten what we stand for?
I joined the Liberal Democrats six years ago. I was 16, I’d just finished my GCSEs and I wanted to make a difference. I believe in Liberalism, and the party’s preamble spoke to me. After all, who woul...

Following the announcement by the Lib Dems returning officer on quotas in our federal elections I would like to make it clear I spent many hours and more emails trying to point out that this decision went against the expressed will of conference barely a month ago.

Also highlights a point I spend a lot of time on in my book - the government is woefully bad at managing private contractors who endlessly rip us off. This is not more efficient.

The year of weddings starts early this year and once again I find myself deeply infuriated at men’s formal wear.

Want a shirt in blue, white or pink? Go right ahead. Want anything else? Hope you’ve the body shape for slim fit 💀

People who have come to the United Kingdom legally, played by the rules and made it their home do not need to “go home”. This is their home.

I've written to Kemi Badenoch to give her the chance to reject these divisive calls from her frontbencher Katie Lam.

This sounds great. Can we also double their business rates and ban gambling advertising?

And use some of the revenue generated for a retraining fund to help staff who want to upskill and land new jobs?

This is a really excellent piece and, I think, deeply insightful of our current moment’s predicament.

Ming Campbell was a dedicated public servant and a true Liberal giant.

His principled leadership opposing the Iraq War was a mark of his morality, courage and wisdom.

But more than that, he was an incredibly warm and caring friend and colleague.

We will miss him terribly.

I see people are upset that I won an award for women because I'm the wrong type of woman. I was moved and honoured to have been awarded this by the party's women's group, and that the Lib Dems at all levels have my back and I will continue to fight for liberalism and my community.

The media - no, we're not going to report on serious Lib Dem policies

The media - yes, we will report on fun stunts

The media, also - the Lib Dems need to show they've got serious policies

Delighted that the @libdems.org.uk showed yet again that we reject the assault on trans people’s rights promoted by the small anti trans group in the party. #ldconf

Really very good from Mark. I’m likely not restanding to the FC for similar reasons - my energy can be better spent in Scotland without having to engage with any of the (very) small group of emotional vampires & wreckers that dwell on the FC.
