well I'm not going to complain about an unexpected day off, even if its only unexpected because I forgot

god. these players would eat this up, and it would be such a stretch for me. maybe I should try a political game though, this is absolutely the group for it. the court of Cormyr could be fun

I love to incorporate the fun bits of my previous campaigns into my concepts for the next, and MY forgotten realms has moved on since the times of Tears of the Moonmaiden. I should come up with something new.

I am a bit tempted to reprise Tears of the Moonmaiden - that was a great concept, but its premise was really tied to the players of my Rise of Tiamat campaign (love y'all) that preceeded it, so it might hit different without that. Probably better to roll something new or tied to THESE players.

The fact that it is happening seems inevitable, so I am content to laugh at it sight unseen

and the fresh chillis, which were a little too vicious for my taste when raw, have not overpowered the dish at all and have added a very comfortable level of kick. huge success

success! the addition of some bell peppers and rhubarb has made the whole thing a lot brighter, and (accidentally) omitting the beans has solved some of my minor textural annoyances
