I think it very much depends on how online people are/which websites they're on. I only left Twitter a year ago and Noah Schnapp going full "Zionism is sexy" was a big thing there because HE was on there, posting shit and being quoted by the IDF twt account. Same for Gelman (who was/is even worse).

Using this as a gotcha feels very weird to me. Looking in from the outside, to me this is a very clear sign that the whole system is fucked.

I think they for some reason thought this show would capture a different audience, which I guess it could have if it was good. But it's not good, so the audience is the IWTV audience, who want gay. I don't so much gay as want ANYTHING, sadly it is neither gay nor anything.
