Last time I was depressed and staring into the middle distance I got really into editing The Vampire Chronicles Wiki, and that got me into a national publication without credit, so who KNOWS what this depressive episode will bring!

I finished The Picture of Dorian Grey. Been a while since I read a classic, it brings to mind a mostly unused muscle. But it was good! A bit ago I thought, "I think I'd like this dialogue more as a stageplay," which, yeah, given the author- makes a lot of sense. Glad I decided to read it though.

I finished The Picture of Dorian Grey. Been a while since I read a classic, it brings to mind a mostly unused muscle. But it was good! A bit ago I thought, "I think I'd like this dialogue more as a stageplay," which, yeah, given the author- makes a lot of sense. Glad I decided to read it though.

Particularly annoying thing about depressive episode is that nothing gets done, not even relaxing recreational things, because time isn't working correctly anymore. I would have liked to watch a movie tonight, but I was staring into the middle distance for 2 hours instead. Please end swiftly, fuck.

I may be getting the baby books, but at least I am not getting the baby clothes.
I also got the baby diapers and a thing I know mom will be real excited to get, but I couldn't help getting the books... and then going elsewhere and getting more books for the baby. Baby must have boooooooooks.

I can't quote post that Which Lestat Are You post, because in every sense except physically I'm wearing a flannel nightshirt at Blackwood Farm thinking about the size of my feet, and the show hasn't gotten to Blood Canticle yet.

After The Thing Happened, one of the big TVC fanfic archives replaced it's public page with a (justifiably angry) rant about Anne Rice. It includes this ending section about unproblematic authors you should support instead. 2001.

So I'm like 15 min into Heated Rivalry, and this is the level of "explicit sexual content" I'm always confused to see people imply IWTV has.

Parents who follow me: if you had a registry, in retrospect, did you wish people bought more of a specific category rather than one people bought a lot from? Did you wish people bought some of the stuff for slightly further in the future (older baby) or did you not end up using it?
