Star Trek Picard, and Discovery, unpicked everything that was special about Star Trek for me. Not gonna watch anything following that timeline.

Agree 100%. Andor was robbed. One of my all-time favorite TV shows, and that has nothing to do with it being Star Wars.

The incredible 'Star Wars' show has been largely snubbed this award season, but one of its stars hasn't.

No notes. This is how it's done. Feels more supportive to the community she's writing about too: "I would not ever, like, try to use my sexuality as a way of being like, 'See, I have the right to write these books,' because I don't think that that's how it works."

I’m actually quite optimistic about AI, and I’ve had a lot of success with vibe coding. But one thing it clearly doesn’t do is come up with ideas. It can’t. It has no intentionality. Without a prompt it does nothing.
None of the examples in this article are “restarting the world’s idea machine.” They are AI tools helping scientists automate rote or routine tasks.

There have always been corners of the internet inhabited by trolls. The idea that we’re must frequent those places to civilize them is nonsense. It’s sad that Twitter became one, but there we are.
