The EU court has ruled that Poland must recognise the marriage of a Polish same-sex couple who married in Germany, even though Polish law does not allow such marriages.

Watching #NextGenChef on Netflix and I'm so confused how recent alum of the Culinary Institute of America are competing in a competition at the Culinary Institute of America. Do they not have a massive advantage? Admittedly I'm only about 15 minutes in.

So, after a 5-round application / interview process, I've just found out they won't be taking me forward. Fair enough.
But I'm flummoxed by the reasoning of "we believe this specific role requires a higher degree of anticipatory ownership — spotting and preventing challenges before they arise."
