I have been thinking about this line today, on the value of editors, from the late great John Bennet, for no reason in particular.

This. Fab wee game.
Just played through A Short Hike.
I love this #indiegame and recommend it to everyone.

You have to experience its charms firsthand: little moments add up into an emergent story unique to your playthrough.

Work + life have me a bit burnt out lately. I really needed A Short Hike, and am glad for it.

Microsoft adds AI to Word. Then, what’s this my sub is up by 50%.

Bye bye. That’s some behavior’d make Adobe jealous.

I painted the background image one afternoon way back in about 2011. Its been haunting me ever since on various youtube channels, and not once has it been attributed.

Pointless on the BBC is running some videogame questions, and the bafflement of both hosts and guests is a little depressing.

It’s like the last 30 years never happened.

it's funny how some versions of your own work you kinda shed as you go along- I'm still proud of these sketches from 2014 from what eventually became Shardbound, but in a lot of ways it's a look & feel I've grown away from

The tiny robin that settled in to my garden a few weeks back is longer quite as tiny, and is merrily picking fights with anything that moves.

Went to bookshop for a new fantasy hardback. Literally nothing grabbed me. Roughly 90% of the shelves were taken by lookalike romantasy, and of the rest there wasn’t anything for me.

Fad publishing - get over it please.

The BBC isn’t biased, they say, as Farage continues to get blanket coverage, complaining about how unfairly he’s treated. The disconnect is incredible.
