So many armchair pundits trying to diminish the Mamdani victory in NYC by touting big wins by “moderate” Dems in NJ & VA deliberately obfuscate fact that ZM dethroned a political dynasty in a 3 way race where Oligarchs threw about $30 million of ugly Islamophobia at him, and they still lost bigly.

Wishing the injured National Guard a full recovery. No one signs up to be used as political pawns.
Nov 20 - a judge ruled Trump’s deployment was illegal. The court blocked him from sending troops into the District, with a 21 day pause for appeal.
Bottom line: the Guard shouldn’t have been in DC.

I guess it’s a good thing we were so concerned about the right to speak our opinions being outlawed by a ruling class that we guaranteed it by making it the very first amendment in our Bill of Rights when we formed the country.

Mayor Elect Mamdani will be meeting with the President shortly after the President has called for executing elected Democratic Members of Congress. I hope Mamdani brings security and witnesses with him. The White House is an active crime scene and insane asylum at this point.
