Well I have walked 131 miles so far this month. That’s quite a long way, but nowhere near as far as I have come in thinking doing that distance. Too many things to think about, but somehow walking a bit helps me put it all in order.

Not necessarily setting me on the way but instigated a change of direction. I'd been a teenage metalhead who went baggy (due to a band I was in) but was seeking a utopian psychedelic escape route and this turned out to be it - introduced me to garage, Detroit rock, funk, krautrock. A gateway drug!

Important thing to bear in mind people. A few years ago, I looked at the data for the electric Volvo XC40 and the diesel version, in terms of lifetime CO2 emissions. The electric version doesn’t get ahead until the end of the 7th year…..and from what I’m understanding that won’t be ….
