It wasn't just frustration over not being able to beat a difficult boss. I felt as if Hornet's purpose was my purpose and I just had to persevere.

Well, I beat the game. I gotta say, Hollow Knight: Silksong was one of the best games I've ever played. The talk about the difficulty is true, but I think there's something to be said about the fact that I had trouble giving up or taking longer than a night or two off from playing the game.
