Unlike you, I can read and that’s why I know what the constitution says.
Trump on Ilhan Omar: "I look at somebody who comes from Somalia...and she comes in and tells us how to run our country. 'The Constitution says this, the Constitution says that.' The whole thing is crazy."

A cruel irony of coding agents is that everyone who blew off automated testing for the past 20 years is now telling the AI to do TDD all the time.

But because LLMs were trained on decades of their shitty tests, the agents are also terrible at testing.

Wtf

When news broke that a suspect had been identified in the Charlie Kirk case, an X user asked Grok to supply an image of the suspect.

Grok replied with an AI-generated photo of a young Black man.

(Kirk’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, is a white man.)

Beyond performance work, I deprecated a bunch of APis in the JSON gem, and added others, so I figured it would be a good occasion to talk about API design: byroot.github.io/ruby/json/20...
What’s wrong with the JSON gem API?
As I mentioned at the start of my Optimizing Ruby’s JSON series of posts, performance isn’t why I candidated to be the new gem’s maintainer.

I definitely won't take such a risk anymore.
