The massacres of civilians in Sudan are being fuelled by Canadian weapons, mining interests, and refugee restrictions. It’s time for Canada to end its complicity

The professor invited by UBC describes his work as an "archaeology of military occupation”, cites Foucault, but does not see the contradictions of working on an archaeological site built on ruins of an ethnically cleansed Palestinian village and next to one of the largest prisons for Palestinians👇

When I was under 1, my dad was arrested in the UK. As was the standard procedure, he had the beating of his life and was left on a cell floor to reflect on the errors of his ways. He got 3 years in a max security jail. One of the men arrested with him died on hunger strike.

What happens when the university you work for allows genociders to work alongside you and to teach students? Is the university also complicit when they allowed this Engineering professor to make several trips, to murder innocent women, children, men in Palestine, and to return to teach in Toronto?
