Milled up a 6in diameter limb I had marked “Pin Oak ? Spring 17” which to my surprise turned out to be Spalted Maple. Here’s the first of the wands I made from it. Video tomorrow.

Milled up a log that I had marked as a Pin Oak back in 2017… had a feeling I was wrong and once it was opened I knew for sure it wasn’t oak. Pretty sure it’s maple.
