END OF NORMAL TIME: CHESTERFIELD 2-2 LIVERPOOL UNDER 21s

So that’s a point apiece so far, despite the Spireites looking on course for all three having gone 2-0 up.

There is now another on offer in the penalty shoot-out, though.

Stand by for updates…

BAILEY HOBSON!! BACK IN BLUE, BACK IN THE GOALS!

It is a rather fortuitous one in truth, as Hobson’s effort bobbles along a slippery surface and under Liverpool ‘keeper Fabian Mrozek.

Our boy is 8 now, loves drawing fish & birds though his AuDHD means he’s easily distracted and seldom finishes stuff, meaning reams of paper covered in unfinished bird compendia/ocean habitats. Which is lush, BUT I thought a drawing app might help him focus a bit.

As somewhat anticipated, plenty of changes, with Tom Naylor and Liam Mandeville the only remaining starters from Saturday.

Bailey Hobson, recently recalled from his loan at National League side Brackley Town, starts.

Meanwhile, Liverpool academy graduate Adam Lewis is not in the squad.
