literally no process in the task manager related to streaming/encoding is taking more than 1.5% of the CPU or 2% of the GPU. if OBS can't update a fucking text source without eating shit, that's kinda ridiculous.

somehow updating a "read from file" text source in obs by saving the external text file is causing the encoder to drop LITERALLY ALL FRAMES. like *zeroing out.*

this is on a dedicated encoding machine running on an i9 12900K, 32GB of DDR5 and a 5070.

i refuse to believe it's a hardware issue.

i gotta admit, my "wtf" faded pretty quick; they're fuckin' delicious (and i have like an assload of leftovers to air fry later tonight)
