branches, mosty maple some oak and eastern red cedar. this is a bit of a study in texture and contrast, initially I'd planned to make it almost a binary black and white but I like the bark so this is one of the edits - might go back and do another edit but I like this the way it is. why does it feel weird to say I like my own photos? I know I'm SUPPOSED to like them, and I shouldn't have to justify or say that I like them and I want other people to like them too but that's now why I'm doing it and it is weird, just a strange loop knowing it is okay to like my own stuff and ultimately I'm the only one who should care if I like it or not and y'all can or not and that doesn't matter in the process, and now I'm rambling, my apologies to those using readers going through the alt-text of a pile of sticks

Found a few really minor spots on the sensor (again)
-still grumpy at previous self for letting dust get in there in the first place-

Thinking about a new plan of attack: stick some of the special microscope cleaning cotton swabs in the Glow Discharge in an attempt to make them sticky (charged).
