What I'd really like to be able to do is define my feed logic as a small piece of custom code (maybe in something that gets compiled to WebAssembly behind the scenes) that runs on someone else's servers, which I would happily pay for

in retrospect i think the weirdness points post might've been the most damaging rationalist/EA strategy post of all time. we ended up optimizing for respectability at a time when the meta was rewarding boldness
