A lot of people screaming about historic preservation. Section 106 doesn’t require the “preservation” of buildings, it does require mitigation for adverse effects. NPS manages the National Register of Historic Places, and who is the Sec. of Int. answering to right now? Power doesn’t follow regs.

Being out amongst the population this weekend and not on SM, people I know who lean conservative are more worried about the cost of living and the 9/11 anniversary than Kirk. Not one word about him, a lot about more pressing issues in their life though. “Online” nonsense still remains mostly online.
