Lunchtime wfh outdoor break on a pretty miserably grey day.

River Barrow flooding still not fully receded, but the swans have moved back in!

Trump lobbied on behalf of Brett Ratner, pal of Bibi who moved to the genocidal apartheid state after the many Me Too allegations against him in the US?

Well of course he did.

It really IS weird.

The day Pascal Donohue resigned, I saw a number of posts/comments mainly focusing on how he was a prolific reader & a good skin when you met him in person.

Found it so odd that these were peoples first memories/associations & not the utter misery he heavily contributed to.

It’s finally Friday evening, the beginning of my cosy weekend & my adorable butter dish has arrived. Look at the cuteness!

Also, the River Barrow burst both sides of its banks at the weekend & it’s fairly telling about the soggy state of things on the lower lying land so early in winter that the water has barely receded since.

Quick lunchtime runaround for the dogs who were quite unhappy that I didn’t put their coats on for them.

I thought they were being particularly precious until I looked at the weather app afterwards 🤦‍♀️

FINALLY a judge is pointing it out explicitly.

The behaviour of Enoch (& the other Burkes) is a clear safety concern.

Genuinely, how far off are they from rationalising violence as appropriate to their cause?

Today I am VERY grateful that last year I bought the little 800ml hot water bottle that fits into the kangaroo pocket of most of my fleeces & hoodies 🥶

Jesus Christ. This is written like some sort of fever-induced lunacy.

No thanks, I’d really prefer if the state broadcaster spent time & money on new & developing talent.

Íosa Críost, the @news.rte.ie subtitles aren’t anywhere near good enough either 🤦‍♀️

Oh wow, watching @virginmedianews.bsky.social & the auto generated subtitles for the Presidential oath as Gaeilge are *not good* 😬

Always love seeing cats curled up in the clear bowl like some kind of furry trifle 😂

Honestly after watching the full clip of what he said & reading the transcript, it’s pretty clear that Simon Harris must believe that the Irish public is utterly stupid.

Because that’s the only reason I can see for him thinking that we’d buy into his patronising silliness. Smarmy worm.
November 6, 2025 at 2:03 PM
Simon Harris is courting the very same people who will be celebrating the attack on the Drogheda Ipas centre last night.

Yes he’ll probably pop up with his “I am very concerned” furrowed brow & say something to the cameras, but we should remember what he *really* prioritises & stands for.

Yep definitely possible, especially considering the UK has already handed over the personal data from their implementation to corps with questionable records 😬

Well it doesn’t shock me that Bob Geldof identifies closest with Fianna Fáil, considering this ridiculously out of touch belief 🤦‍♀️
October 23, 2025 at 12:28 PM
Yeah this totally reads like Róisín Murphy spent two years silently fuming about the people who called out her transphobia & she *still* manages to get it wrong in her “WELL ACTUALLY” style follow up years later.

Trash. No surprise she feels most comfortable posting it on the cesspit platform.
October 22, 2025 at 11:59 AM
It was definitely some sort of
misunderstanding people anyway, mixed with a helping of patronising Irish people. But yeah, her further replies beyond these screenshots definitely came across as having quite the nasty streak.
October 12, 2025 at 9:55 AM
Yeah honestly, she doesn't seem at all happy with people who were politely clarifying something because they thought she was interested in our true history. Pretty quickly went from rude/patronising to leaning into the drunkenness trope before blocking me 🤷‍♀️

Quite strange.

Yeah, I can screenshot from newspapers too ⬇️🤷‍♀️
