You cannot technically explain yourself out of UX issues, please stop trying.

So often I see users bring up UX issues, and programmers then tell them how much work it was to create their product.

It doesn't matter how much work it was!! What matters is if your target audience uses it or not.

Tech names should not alias common terminology!

Nowadays you'll search like "bread recipe" and it will turn out "bread" is a JS compiler and a "bread recipe" is its config file. The top results will be 2 billion posts on StackOverflow about that.

Instead of, you know, an *actual recipe for bread*.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

The western literary canon everyone teaches and studies is terrible: mediocre works dominated by crufty white male authors.

This, at the expense of attention to *every other* demographic's work, even amounting to entire literary subgenres.

Insane to urge kids to read widely when the canon doesn't.
Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat

When your level designer is a little too excited to get to the interesting bits that they don't spend enough care on the backrooms:

Water is restorative. Water is life. The country rains nourish plants and animals, while the city rains refresh the parched and cleanse pollutants from the air.

Meanwhile, the sun is a nuclear fireball that you cannot even look at. It scorches the earth and burns your very skin.

From the archives: ever wonder what 1 billion Utah teapots looks like?

Boom. 1 gigateapot.

(Rendered with my old pathtracer, using a recursive BVH.)

Just to get us started, here's a thing I wrote about how the 3D rasterization pipeline works.

Also included is a small (single-file, < 300 lines, including comments) implementation in C++, because code is worth 1000 words.

The Raster Graphics Pipeline
This is a high-level but still technical survey of the graphics pipeline.
