I am moving forward with impeachment articles against the DHS Secretary Noem.

Secretary Noem’s unlawfulness and dangerous leadership can't be ignored.

We owe it to our democracy to persist, despite the seemingly overwhelming odds against us.

As bad as things may be in the US, it's important to keep thing in perspective, and recognize the terrible burden the people of Ukraine have been shouldering for far longer than I thought possible
From Hitler’s invasion of the Soviet Union (June 22, 1941) to Germany’s surrender (May 8, 1945) – 1416 days
From Putin’s invasion of Ukraine (February 24, 2022) to Russian army being stuck in Kupiansk for the 14th month (January 10, 2026) – 1416 days

It’s been a very long war.

There is, however, nothing that annoys me enough that would make me use the site that currently has an AI that makes non-consensual pornography out of anyone you ask it to.

When clocks strike midnight on the first day each year, a quiet creative revolution starts as hundreds of works move from private control into the public domain, unlocking stories, songs, and images for anyone to reuse.

The world celebrates this big moment with an official Public Domain Day. (1/2)

This is bonkers! Looks like that An-22 was lost due to structural failure around the aft loading ramp. That...uh...was not a very well done overhaul if minutes into the first check flight it literally just breaks in half.
You may remember the last An-22 plane used by Russia, crashing into a reservoir this week and killing all 7 senior military servicemen.

The plane had been decommissioned but was still flying, presumably through desperation & without maintenance as this incredible vid shows its catastrophic demise.

Just drove around the old neighborhood we left last year. Not much has changed, still pretty rundown. But the two houses that while we lived there reliably had multiple Trump flags flying...didn't. US Flags and a Texas flag, but nothing else.

This is another example of President Trump and Secretary Hegseth undermining the rule of law to attack a political opponent. In this case, simply for stating a legal fact. This is how things go in Russia and other autocratic regimes. It shouldn’t be happening in America.
