Spirit looks up towards his eagle, Freedom, but there does not appear to be as much judgement here. Perhaps pride? It’s hard to tell. We should ask the artist that crafted this striking, thoughtful piece. Hi everyone. David here. When that bird wolf transformer came into my life, I thought “hey man, what if a wolf and bird produced this freak through a sexual relationship?” and the other toys(my medium of choice) were close enough to grab before I got bored with this idea or forgot it entirely. As with most of my more advanced work, I spent 10s, sometimes 30s of seconds setting it up, before possibly settling on a less compelling pose after my original choice fell down. Sometimes it goes right the first time, and those truly are the times in which it goes right the first time. I don’t remember what photo we were talking about. C’est la vie, Mon chéris. Au revoir.
