New on my blog: OpenAI dropped a trio of models yesterday that they claim result from "focusing closely on real-world developer needs." I was curious whether this might mean stronger #rstats coding performance.

What is happening here? Suddenly our nanopore reads containing big gaps? Good that we always sequence the ONT Lambda control sample with it. Top track flongle with issues, bottom track earlier flongle run.(minor snps/indels are hidden)
btw,3 flongles with same library show this problem. #ONT #NGS

For a while now, I've noticed this curious thing with large chromosomes where they have a backbone reverse-complement repeat pattern that spreads throughout the chromosome, with a repeat distance of hundreds of thousands to millions of bases.

Here it is for a human chromosome; that orange stuff.
