I think the problem with that is that the further into any coalition the "changed" crowd is brought, the more impossible it is to shelter victims from the crowd of people who are claiming to have changed and who are potentially campaigning for opportunities and access for others to change too.

I don't actually care if they changed in this context -- their change doesn't mean that victims of the condition they changed from have any obligation to make room for them or anyone else to have the chance to change, especially when the danger isn't shared equally. Victims don't owe them that.

It's super great that you found your way back from whatever hellish road you walked... but maybe don't downplay the dangers others on that road represent or start writing them a redemption arc *while they're still victimizing others*. Anyone who buys what you're selling further enables the harm!

I've also used stainless steel as a deodorizer but I find that only works if the garlic was raw, and toothpaste works in a pinch with cooked, oily stuff but will make you smell like toothpaste.

Wash your hands with a little lemon juice. The acid will neutralize the allicin and the other aromatics from the garlic.
