ICYMI — “I identified myself as a U.S. citizen and a veteran, but that didn't matter. ICE Agents smashed my window, sprayed tear gas and pepper spray into my car, dragged me out… this experience violated the very principles I fought to defend.”

Not only is ICE snatching hard working people who are trying to earn a living, they’re taking their money too?

A witness recorded ICE agents taking a cash box from a taco stand in La Puente during an operation where four people were arrested.

Do the Trump administration's lethal strikes on boats at sea constitute war crimes? "If this were a war, this would be a war crime. But because it's not a war, it's just murder," says Reed Brody, an expert on international law and a veteran war crimes prosecutor.

It’s important to remember there are two scandals here:

1. The Administration has likely committed war crimes.

2. But the entire operation - which now includes two dozen attacks - is illegal. In our democracy, the President CANNOT wage war without the consent of the people.
BERMAN: Did you see any evidence of them trying to use a radio in the video you saw?

TOM COTTON: Well I saw lots of evidence of them standing on the boat that had been capsized

BERMAN: That wasn't my question. Did you see any evidence?

COTTON: No, I didn't

The conditions in many immigration detention centers are horrifying.

Inedible food. Individuals forced to sleep on the floor next to overflowing toilets. Pregnant women shackled and suffering miscarriages.

It is a system designed to break peoples’ spirit, akin to torture.

There is no sight that more efficiently puts the lie to immigration “court” than the common sight of children “representing themselves.” Children too small to climb into the chair, children in pajamas who don’t know where they are, children not yet old enough to speak.

The way to fight back on stuff like trans rights, immigration, etc. is to create an unrepentant moral argument in their favor. We want people to be their authentic selves. We want people to come here to escape oppression and be able to realize their full potential. These things are morally good.

Bill Nye said "Evidence."

Ken Ham said "Nothing can possibly change my mind about this."

I think about that a lot.
