Being able to automate boring parts of a job sounds amazing, but requires a lot more boring software engineering work (platform-izing all data, exposing all possible user actions via APIs) than fancy AI models.
Probably my biggest gripe with full fledged coding "agents" like Devin is companies branding it as a full fledged collaborative AI teammate, when in reality it works only for a narrow set of use cases (refactoring, rewriting etc)
