Occasionally I like to change out the background on my computer by browsing for something good on one of the many wallpaper subreddits. That experience has been painful these last couple of years with the amount of AI slop out there. 1/2

I only had one New Year’s Resolution, and that is to play a new indie game each month. It’s late in January, but I’m starting with Undertale. Not exactly timely, but it’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think “indie game”, and I hear good things

Fucking awesome... Just found out at least one retailer has been selling Wind and Truth before the release date. Going into isolation from social media until I get and finish my copy

Just trying to play a game with some friends. This is definitely the kind of quality I expect from Activision

Three days later after a second attempt and I have a successful, squishy TPU print. Some of the inner supports failed a third of the way through, but I decided to keep going just to see how it would turn out and I’m glad I did

The print made it a third of the way before the center organic supports began failing. I'm trying again with a larger minimum support diameter, and a reduced maximum angle

I successfully printed a Benchy using TPU for the first time, so of course the next step is a skull that will take three days and use half a spool

Despite the fact that she is a fluffy cat and there is a heatwave, Jasnah decided to pull the bubble wrap out of a cardboard box and use it as a bed and blanket

People who don't drink coffee or tea, how do you live? I'm always tired as fuck and you're out here being productive. WTF?

Writing quick Steam reviews for games you like is the single best thing you can do to help their visibility. Taking 10 minutes to go through your library and bang out a handful of reviews for games with <1000 total reviews can really move the needle.

Just finished our game for the GMTK jam. I did the programming, and @usagiyokai.bsky.social did the artwork. Finally get to relax.

Currently building a game for the GMTK Jam and I'm noticing my normal internal monologue cycle while programming of "I'm a genius" and "I'm the dumbest human to have ever lived" has been greatly accelerated

Nothing like deciding on some last minute changes to a demo the week before an event to really get the stress levels going

Watching my sister's dog, who is notorious for destroying toys, and thinking I could find something she couldn't tear apart. Oh, what a fool am I

I’ve never participated in a game jam before, so I’m looking forward to making something for the GMTK Game Jam this Friday. Even if what I make is terrible, it should be fun

if you're ever babysitting my cat and he maims you, sorry but i literally have no idea what he is asking for, it's never the same thing twice
If youre ever babysitting my six year old and she asks to "watch the sad song" she is asking to watch the music video to "This Woman's Work" by Kate Bush
If you’re ever babysitting my two year old daughter and she insists on seeing “the sad man,” she is NOT talking about me. She is asking to watch the video for Human by The Human League on YouTube.

Another battle of deciding whether to handle just the bare minimum of my responsibilities, or blowing off everything because it’s a “holiday”
