of course my friends getting harassed caused me more mental distress at the time but now that that's over, i'm a lot more mad at the fact that the people involved never made the effort of even understanding the criticism i was extending. they still say "protocol compliance" derisively to mock us.

i dont really get the case for vms as a homeserver thing. you do not need proxmox 90% of the software you're running is already packaged as docker images

I am very good at all things involving running servers and alright (mainly out of practice) with writing/reading code (Python/Bash/Go/Nix/Ruby/Typescript), and decent with hardware, but my work experience is very wonky because of grad school.
