- that the grandparents’ basement is “sleeping” and that’s why we can’t go down there to look for ping pong balls yet again 🤫
- to wear mittens because they rhyme with kittens🐱
- to wear a hat because it rhymes with cat 🐈

Yesterday my kid said cars are fleas on the Earth, and snowbanks are the earth’s teeth. A classmate told me when trees are cut down the earth bleeds and then the earth is a vampire? I think the kids are okay.

Uhhh for some reason I thought today was FRIDAY! I stupidly went around saying “have a nice weekend!” to my kid’s friends’ parents today. Haven’t packed kiddo’s lunch for tomorrow. Sheesh. Losing my mind.

My least popular (and most correct) view is that cars should be automatically limited to the local speed limit. Put the pedal to the floor and you still can't go over 25mph in a residential area.

i grew up in jane & finch as a kid.
i remember being there when they were initially planning this line and promised a fast, new train to replace the overcrowded finch bus. i was excited back then.
all i can say is i feel insulted
