I wrote this before I had my breakfast. Of course Ocarina of Time wasn't cancelled. :P

But I was mainly trying to think of cancelled games and prototypes that were unlikely to ever see the light of day.

There are many other examples, both recent and old.

Efforts to back things up digitally and make them available to the public are often blocked by copyright issues which is a shame. Preservation is so hard.

There's companies shutting things down without warning. Artists deleting their creations from the net. And media being lost by lack of interest.

I watched this movie with my parents when it aired on TV and it was actually pretty decent, for being a romance with a furry meeting sidestory.

I appreciate it for not making fun of fursuiting and showing it in a sympathetic light. First time I've ever seen that on public mainstream TV in Germany.

That's crazy, it must be a developer oversight. You'd think the game has a factory reset option.

Now I wonder if there are other examples of games with permanent changes that can't be undone.

I never completed Bomberman 64 because the hidden gold cards are incredibly hard to find. But it is really fun and has a great soundtrack.

I saw an ad for it on a Nintendo 64 VHS tape as a kid and thought wow, this game lets you use bombs anywhere, that's so cool. It's the first Bomberman I played.
