I watched this movie with my parents when it aired on TV and it was actually pretty decent, for being a romance with a furry meeting sidestory.
I appreciate it for not making fun of fursuiting and showing it in a sympathetic light. First time I've ever seen that on public mainstream TV in Germany.

I still use Windows Movie Maker in 2025 to create stuff for YouTube. For audio uploads.
This is the one software I haven't found an adequate Linux replacement/counterpart for yet.
If anybody has suggestions let me know. WMM is one of the main reasons I still cling onto my old Win 7 laptop.

Having a day with not much to do I think I want to dabble in some Kraftwerk stuff again.
I spent months cherry picking the highest quality concert recordings of the band. I could make a playlist of them.
I have excellent hearing and a pretty good judgement of what makes a bootleg recording "good".

A common sight late October / early November in the Saarland region of Germany. They fly Southwards for the winter months and return in spring when the weather turns mild again.
I thought they're wild geese, but no, they're cranes (Kraniche in German). Geese make different noises.

Something that greatly impresses me about birds of prey is their ability to "hover in place the air" to observe their surroundings.
When they spot prey they swipe down to grab it. Some species are even able to see near ultraviolet light. They can spot the urine trails of small rodents to find them.

I spent the evening with my family. We watched a movie on TV and a furry meeting and fursuiters played a central role in it. It was portrayed in an absolutely sympathetic and cute way.
My parents didn't make fun of it, and I felt very happy. I felt embarrassed but at the same time it was wonderful.

There are still flocks of birds flying to the South. I guess they must be wild geese.
Weather was beautiful when the fog lifted up on the hills. I love this place, one of my favourite hiking paths in the area.

When mature they burst into a cloud of spores when stepped on, hence the name puffball. They're edible when young and white inside. Seen in Southwest Germany, November 9th, 2025.

Did a 4(!) hour walk, exploring a new route in the forest. The day started foggy but later, up in the hills, it cleared up and the sun came through. It was beautiful.
